Default Pre-advance booking

We will be in May 2007 for 3 days in Vancouver.
Please advise us when is a good time to check with priceline, or should we decide to pre-advance book when is the right time for that.
As of now everytime I call or want to book online there is either no room available or it is to early to book.
You input is appricated.

Before going to Priceline, I would check the prices for the Crowne Plaza Georgia Hotel. It's about four or five short blocks from the cruise terminal, downhill all the way, and there are wheelchair ramps in the curb at all of the intersections so you can walk it quite easily with "rollerback" luggage. Crowne Plaza offers very heavily discounted "prepaid" room rates that may well be cheaper than what you'll find on Priceline. It's a great location in the city's downtown, right between a Firmont and a Four Seasons, surrounded by lots of great restaurants. There's also a fairly lage shopping mall on the next block.

Have a great trip!

Norm.

I just called Crowne Plaza Georgia and they said they were not taking reservations for June, 2007, because they were doing major remodeling...Susan
