Alaska Cruise with Land Package

We are taking our third cruise to Alaska on the Summit in May 2007. My question is that we will have a 6 night post cruise land package and I'm wondering how to pack. I'm thinking that I should pack one suitcase for the cruise and one suitcase for the land package. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Yes, 2 suitcase packing is common. However, I am one for less is more. I NEVER take 2 suitcases and prefer to pack light using laundry options.

Depending on where you are going, usually interior Alaska is much milder than the Inside Passage.

JUST PACK FOR 11 DAYS THATS ALL!!! LAYERS LAYERS LAYERS MIX AND MATCH HOW DIRTY CAN YOU GET!!! KEEP IT SIMPLE MY CHIROPRACTOR JUST WENT ON THE SUMMIT LOVED IT HAVE FUN JEALOUS I AM !!!! HAVE A GREAT TIME ISN'T ALASKA THE BEST!!!!
