Shuttle or Taxi from Vancouver Airport to Carnival Ship?
We are landing around 9am and would like to know what most people do...take a taxi or shuttle and what the approximate costs are. We booked our cruise through Carnival.

When we came thru the airport there was a kiosk for taxis and limos. Someone on here recommended a limo because it is a flat fee and if there is traffic a taxi could run more. We were quoted the same price so we opted for a limo and by paying for a R/T fare we were given a deal. It was $75 R/T to the Hyatt which is only a couple blocks from the cruise port. More comfortable and more room for the luggage. We also paid everything by credit card and let them do the currency exchange.

Limo is the way to go - we live near Vancouver but did a repositioning cruise and, as we were flying home we left our car at the airport and took the limo to the dock. Great ride - considering I wasn't even dead lol.
As luck would have it - we were waiting in line for the limo and I noticed the couple behind us had the same cruise line tags as ours on their luggage - so we asked if they would like to share the ride. Same price for four as two - so we split it. It was less than the shuttle.
You can google "limojet gold YVR" and get the info.
We also have the Vancouver entertainment book and don't use many of the attraction and restaurant coupons for downtown. If anything interests you to do in Vancouver I can check the book to see if we have coupons and send them on to you, just let me know.
