Default PRINCE RUPERT - Thoughts?

I have a feeling you'll get sick of me over this next month!

This will be the first of many posts, I'm sure. You guys are all so much more knowledgeable than other discussion forums I've looked at! I've had a great time reading the posts so far!

We are cruising RCI, June 29th - Tracy Arm Fjord.

Question #1 - We are traveling with our 3 children (12, almost 4 and 1 years old).

In Prince Rupert, has anyone done the Sea Life Discovery/Crab Extravaganza? It was reasonably priced and seemed like something we could ALL do together.

On the flip side, I can't seem to find any information on this aquarium, if we wanted to sightsee it without the cost of the excursion??

When I look for info on P. Rupert, it doesn't seem there's much going on (as far as *THINGS* to do). I would love to know if anyone has any insight on what the best picks are in P. Rupert.

Thx so much!

I know Prince Rupert fairly well, but had to Google that one! There is still no aquarium in Prince Rupert, but the tour boat that RCI uses has a 150-gallon aquarium on board so you can see and touch sea creatures as you cruise the waterfront - sounds like a cool addition. I haven't toured with them (whoever the operator is), but the Prince Rupert habour area is beautiful cruising.

There's actually lots to do in Prince Rupert - http://www.explorenorth.com/library/...ncerupert.html will get you started.
