Default Alaskan cruisetour question

We will be doing the Alaskan cruisetour in July - first week land, second week cruise. We have chosen the Coldfoot/Arctic destination. When we arrive in Anchorage, then leave for the land trip - does all of our luggage go with us, or do we only take what we need for the one week (and the rest is stored)? Just trying to plan and trying to think along packing convenience. We have never done this before and appreciate your help. Thanks in advance!

These details will come with your final documents. Some do separate and transport bags direct to the ship. You are taking this cruisetour with a cruiseline???

Not sure- but Coldfoot, in no way is a "great" destination. Far superior is to get to Prudhoe Bay. Especially if you are overnighting there?? Hope not frankly.

If going independent, they offer some excellent Coldfoot fly/shutte tours that are fantastic.

We are doing the Princess cruisetour with Prodhoe Bay as one of the destinations - most nights in one of the lodges, one night at Coldfoot, and 1 night at Prudhoe Bay.

Just be certain this Prudhoe tour is what your think it is and is going to give you what you want. Overall the cruisetours do the poorest job touring here. They see the least compared to other tour options. The big buses don't have anywhere near the flexability to stop along the way and most of your trip is looking out windows, compared to getting out and having more extended time. Verify, you are going to get tour in Prudhoe. There are reports the cruisetours no longer do??

For a far superior Prudhoe touring option this company is excellent and does a fantastic job. http://www.northernalaska.com/arctic-ocean.htm
