Dry suit snorkel in Sitka
DH and I are on Westerdaam week of 25 May. Interested in dry snorkel shore excursion in Sitka. Has anyone done this? Loved my snorkel experience in the Carribean. Tried to get info to book independently and found Island Fever diving but their responding e-mail indicated they don't book independently - just thru the ship. Which is fine if that's the only way to go. We're willing to spend the money for great experiences but want our investment to be worth it.

Any help/advice would be great!

Good Morning,
We have not done that particular snorkel, we did the one in Ketchikan and loved it. That one will probably be just as good.

Have a great cruise,

Any snorkeling or SCUBA diving that you can arrange around here is absolutely spectacular. When faced with Sitka or Ketchikan for options, I always give a slight edge to the Sitka tour just because it's in a dry-suit instead of a wetsuit. Either way you're reasonably warm, however.

Happy Alaska Travels!
