I have plenty of "thoughts about this place", but most either aren't relevant, or violate the terms of service in this forum! Not that it's a bad tour... quite the contrary. IMO the helicopter/dog-camp tours done by ERA, Temsco or Coastal up on the Juneau Ice Field are FAR superior.

I have been on this tour, of the "cart" rides, this is at the top, in my opinion. (comparing some interior Alaska options, Skagway and Carcross) They do an excellent job and they are good in price.
The bargain is with Reddington dogs and a 5 minute ride though the woods in Wasilla at the Sled Dog Headquarter museum.

Default Dog camp

I understand that it's a cart ride. Thank you for the reply.

CanCanCase,
Does this place upset you? Are the dogs treated right? I not trying to cause you a problem. If the place is wrong or there doing the "right" thing toward the consumer then speak up. I've been to Alaska twice via cruise and have enjoyed almost everything I've done but I do a lot research before hand to hopefully "weed-out" the rip offs and con artist. I do respect the opinions on this forum...

Thanks.

No... I don't have any business or animal related problems with Seavey's... It's just more of a personal preference sort of thing. I've done both, and the bang for the buck on a helicopter/icefield tour is just SO MUCH more it's not even a fair comparison.

With such a short tour season up here, 100% of the dishonest or otherwise "bad" businesses get weeded out within a year or two. Any business that's been around for more than a few years is a good one to give your money to. Don't worry about that...
