Has anyone stayed at the Angler's Lodge on the Kenai Peninsula? We are considering a pre-cruise fishing stay and would like some imput.Thanks!
Haven't stayed there, and don't fish that far north too often, but be sure to check whether their fishing guides are locals or not. Something silly like 90%+ of the guides in the state are only here for summer jobs, and it's a valid question worth asking...

We got back a couple weeks ago and went with Angler's Lodge...great decision! We came home with over 100 pounds filet weight of king salmon and halibut. What a great operation. We stayed at Tim Berg's before and Marlene and Roger at Angler's Lodge are wonderful hosts. All the guides are experienced and stay at the lodge, they are not contrated as with other operations. If you want to experience Alaska fishing...you will not be sorry if you book here. Give yourself a chance, though and fish more than one day. We fished 3.
