Default Which side of ship for northbound cruise

If we are sailing north on the Radiance of the Seas, should which side should we be on --starboard or port?

I vote for the starboard side if you have a balcony. You will have great views from either side but I think you will see more shoreline from the starboard side.

Yes, you are right. I have the port side for a southbound alaska cruise.

actually i have to disagree when i went i ended up spending most of my time on the port side. remember that when you are traveling the inside passage there is often land on both sides of you. when you are going into glacier bay port had much more to see, of course when the boat turns around and heads back then starboard gets the cool view but for me it seemed more special getting the narration on the first run...

Starboard is better on the northbound Radiance. Actually up on deck is best. While port is better for Glacier Bay, the Radiance doesn't go there, it goes to Hubbard Glacier which I prefer (we've been on 2 northbounds on the Radiance).
