Default Question about rooms

I am just wondering, if RCCL just opened their 2010 Alaska cruises today, why is there a limited number of rooms available on their website? Do they hold them for Travel agencies or large groups?

I would agree with you, most likely they are being held by a travel agency in hopes to sell them. If not, I have no idea...Gosh, you said 2010??

RCL did pull the Serenade from Alaska for 2010. That might have something to do w/ it. One less ship sailing.
Also the Olympics are in Vancouver in 2010. People might be making it into a dual vacation.

Vancouver is hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics - no tie-in with cruises is possible.

Cruise lines will never make all their inventory available online. It's considered a trade secret. Otherwise CCL could simply log in and see how well they are doing on their sales. Your agent (or you) must call in to ask for a specific room.
