Mendenhall Glacier or Whale Watching

Ok so here is my problem...
I have booked a tour through the cruise ship for Mendenhall Glacier/whale watching tour. But I have heard that these tours have so many people on them. So I tried to book something with Harv and Marv because they do both but they are booked. So I went online and checked Catain Larry which I have heard good things about and they do just the whale watching and I dont think that we will have time to see Mendenhall Glacier after that. Any thought anyone? We will be in Juneau May 17th

Captain Larry (Orca) will drop you off at Mendenhall Glacier if you ask when you book and then you can take a shuttle bus ($7) or taxi ($25-30) back to town. I've been out with Orca twice and had excellent tours both times.

Highly recommend going whale watching with Capt. Larry. Very knowledgeable crew and a great time. You should see whales for sure, don't miss that one. Their office is a short walk once you get in town and then they will bus you to their pier.

Not sure which line you booked on, I took the Photo Safari tour through Princess and did both. 14 people per Safari. If you are into photography, you'll love it.
