Booked on the NCL Pearl, Sept 18. Seattle to Vancouver, by way of Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay, Ketchikan and Victoria BC. We have port side balcony, mid-ship on deck 10.
Awhile back I was looking into doing Alaska this summer, but just not enough time...You really need to book Alaska for next summer soon....The airfares were through the sky for anything this summer too, along with the booking fares....For some strange reason, I almost like cruising to Alaska over the Caribbean, may-be its an age thing?
We are heading to Alaska on the Sea Princess for 10 days, the inside passage right here from home. S.F. round trip, and we can't wait. The last time we visited Alaska was in 2002, and I know there has been some changes.
we are going on the sea princess on 18 th august. We fly into chicago six days before. Have two days, then across the states to san francisco by amtrak. Then two days there then on the cruise, so excited.so will give a full report when we return.
My friend and I are cruising on the Celebrity Millennium on July 8th. We fly into Anchorage July 1st and spend a week checking out the area including PWS, Kenai Fjords, Mt McKinley summit flight, hiking on Exit Glacier, rafting the Matanuska, dog sledding out of Girdwood, biking the Tony Knowles trail, etc.
We are so exicited, but it's taking a long time for it to get here!
