Welcome: To Cruise Line Suggestions

This is a new board for suggestions and ideas that would make your cruise experience more enjoyable. Be creative and constructive, have fun and let's see if we can make a positive impact on cruising.

Take care,

Re: Welcome: To Cruise Line Suggestions
Like Mike said, this is the place to express ideas that would make your cruise experience even more special. Cruiselines do listen to it's passengers and this is one place that you can let them know what you think would be a good or great idea! Think of it as an Internet Comment Card for the cruiselines. It can be for a specific ship, line, or group. Let's see what you want to have or have changed.
One of the things I have usually asked for and had provided while escorting a group was a tour of the stage so that you can see just how hard the performers work. It always seems to go over real big so I would like to see the ships all have a regular tour of the stage and performers area and maybe allow one of the dancers to explain what goes on backstage during a performance.

Re: Welcome: To Cruise Line Suggestions
I agree, this board should be for legitimate suggestions - not just what peeves you that the cruiseline really has no control over (i.e. crowded elevators, people cutting lines, etc). If you have a suggestion that may lead to a change, then post it here, but keep in mind, cruiselines have little or no control over the actions or attitudes of the passengers.

Re: Welcome: To Cruise Line Suggestions
How do you know if the cruise lines will actually read the post that we put up..... Also will you delete any threads that are not constructive??

Re: Welcome: To Cruise Line Suggestions
There is no guarantee that a cruise line will read or act upon the suggestions but we do have cruise line employees and representatives who do read the boards. It also allows people to give their comments on the boards.

Yes, non-constructive threads or irrelevant rants will be deleted. We aren't expecting flowers and roses, but we do expect constructive complaints or ideas.

Also any posts that violate our terms of service will be deleted the same as they are on all of the other Cruisemates boards.

Take care,

Re: Welcome: To Cruise Line Suggestions

This such a good idea. Whoever thought this one up, way to go.

Re: Welcome: To Cruise Line Suggestions
You can thank a suggestion that came from our reader: Jodi (UConn1).

It was approved by Anne, and Jim after the message board staff discussed it. I asked about 50 questions. <VBG>

We do listen and it was a very good idea that we appreciated. I am very pleased with the response we have had.

Take care,

Re: Welcome: To Cruise Line Suggestions
It is so nice to know that our suggestions and comments don't go unnoticed. I am really looking forward to some of the suggestions that people have - many so far are things I haven't thought of (such as trays at buffet), but are really good ideas.

Thanks for giving us this board Anne, Mike, Jim and all the other CM staffers.

I suggest that Carnival allow people to preview the Travel Log before purchasing. We had members of our party in a show and in a shore tour and a lido deck contest. Each tiime they say it will be inthe travel log. And, when viewing in the cabin it was. 3 of us bought the DVD. When we got home not one was in the travel log. People need to be able to preview the finished product before purchasing.

My suggestion for the board
This thread needs to be stickied to the top. I only found it because I clicked on the little Next arrow at the bottom of the screen to read more threads in a forum about picking a cruise line to sail on. Why is such an important thread hiding on page 2 instead of on a seperate section of the message board or at the top of each page? That would help the cruise lines and their past passengers!
