Simple - For Carnival - Make Skipper's Club available at ALL embarkation ports. Also, something more than expidited check-in would be nice. Give us some on-board perks too. Just my thoughts after 12 CCL crusies and 13th next month, and getting ready to book 14th and 15th for August 2006 (back to back Glory).
I'm wondering if it is now available for Fort Lauderdale and New York embarkation? When I did check in for my Fort Lauderdale check in for Carnival Legend cruise in 2004 the Skippers Club was just a desk that also served as the booze confiscation desk. It offered no real advantage in terms expediting my check in. In many ways it slowed it down.

The Skipper’s Club program is an exclusive service designed to afford guests in deluxe suite accommodations with special registration and boarding privileges. This service is now available in Miami, Port Canaveral, Los Angeles, New Orleans, San Juan, Galveston, Tampa and New York.
I know that in New Orleans, you show proof of Skippers Club, you go straight to the desk, and then straight onto the ship.
Actually several times when we qualified for "Skipper's Club" embarkation, we found it didn't expedite the process. The people manning that area didn't seem to know how the routine was supposed to work.
That has happened to us sometimes also, Kuki. They put one check in agent in a room with a desk, some couches and chairs, and you check-in one cabin at a time. Sometimes we have waited as long as an hour, but to be able to sit while waiting is great for us.
It seems to me they would put more than one agent in the room.
