I think that Princess cruiselines should waive the cruise fee for children under 3, just like airlines do for children under 2.
Princess has absolutely NO programs that are offered to this age group, yet they are still considered a 3rd person in your cabin. Not even discounted !!!
Most children under 3 do not even eat a lot and therefore the food price for them is minimal.
If Princess offered programs for children under 3 then I would have no problem paying a "reduced" fee for my child.
The cruiseline also charges an automatic $10 per day gratuity for these children ? Why? A little too much for very little service.
My husband and I were married on a Princess cruise and we were told over and over again by Princess that our invited guests with children would have to book quickly as they limit the amount of children on-board. I found very few children on our cruise.
As for your response, LIMIT. Whether they have five infants under the age of 3 on the cruiseship or 503.......... I still think they should not have to pay the same as an adult.
That was my suggestion, not how many children they allow !
