Default Carnival Past Guest

My favorite curise line is Carnival. But they do not have as good of a reward system for past guest.
I would like to see the on board credit or coupons for free drinks ect like they do on the RCCL.

Dreaming of cruising and cruising to make my dreams come true.

The only perk they offer will be past guest rates when booking, and the past guest party onboard the ship.

I agree Carnival should offer a bit more for past guests.

I've said this over and over -- Carnival's past guest program is pitiful, when compared to Princess and RCCL, both of which I am beginning to travel more. I get free logo merchandise, coupons for use on board and now priority check in and departure. These make a difference in the whole cruise experience.

Dittos to all the above. Even NCL has a coupon book now.
All I get from Carnival is non-stop emails about the great deals I'm gonna' get as a past cruiser - a guaranteed 1 (or 2 some days) upgrade! Boy, I'm impressed.
I give 4 or 5 day cruises as bonuses to my manager and sales people and have found that even though I've done 5 Carnival cruises and bought lots more than that for my people, I get no discount AT ALL on the short cruises. Geez.

I agree. This is cruise #5 in 5 years and they don't care at all about loyalty. The past cruise specials are never during school vacation weeks and that is when we need to cruise as a family.

Agree'd Carnival needs to Take care of past guest a bit better, im going on my 3rd cruise soon and carnival pretty much could care less about it.

When i called carnival and suggested that i was pretty much just pushed aside and told to cruise elsewhere if i didnit like it.

Lower rates for past cruisers and perks like Princess for sure! Hey Paul will these suggestions ever be read by the cruise lines themselves to look at what the customers want?

I've been on Twenty cruises all on Carnival and I have to beg for an up grade if I get one
that is a big deal. I know RCCL offers priority boarding for past guests

I would like to see Carnival give a perk for past guest such as the skipper club that is more than just for suites. This would not cost anything to Carnival, but it sure would help get the loyal customers on the ship faster. Yes I would like the drink and photo coupons, but that would cost the company money. I don't want that cost to be added to my cruise, so just give me courtesy not gifts.

I talked to a CCL DSM Rep yesterday, and she informed me that CCL is out with a new coupon book, it is not offered to past guest, but used as a promotional tool during certain sales they have going on. She said the discount are better than they used to be.

So they have a coupon book but it is not for past guest. So how do we get this coupon book? will our TA have them?

We still need some perks.

Please, Carnival!!! Take a page from your sister companies and give past cruisers more than a different colored sign and sail card!! Free internet after 5 cruises, priority boarding, and such is NOT a big deal to the "world's biggest cruise line!" I don't cruise with Carnival more because I get better bennies from other cruise lines! You want me and my money, throw me something!

I never really thought about it, but you people are right. I have cruised with Carnival 18 times over the years and really don't remember getting anything special. Other lines have given us free bottles of wine, candy, carry bags, etc. Celebrity even gave my wife and I each a nice leather bag filled with shampoos, rinses, etc. I agree, Carnival needs to do a little something more. I will continue to sail with Carnival, but would like to see some perks for repeaters.

Anything like drink coupons or photo coupons really would not cost them much and would go a long way with customer satisfaction. Penny wise and POUND foolish !!!!!

Guess Carnival heard your cries!

We just got off the Miracle last week as past guests. We were given a goodie bag which included: a logo nylon bag, 2 log hats, 2 logo shirts, 2 logo keychains, 2 logo pens, some coupons and something else I can't seem to remember. And of course you get the past guest invitation to the cocktail party and the ship pins.

Lisa, they now have "gold" cards for anyone with 2-9 cruises and "platinum" cards for anyone with 10 cruises and above. Not sure what the platinum cards got, but gold got a bunch of "thank you for cruising again with us" comments and that's about it.

The goodie bag was nothing I could get TOO excited about, but at least they made the effort.

No Sharon, I think they only give them on certain cruises. Ours was specifically called a "past guest reunion cruise."

Wonder why they don't give these bags on all the ships?
