Ok OK I know...but I am a Diet Pepsi addict and Coke has all the lines ...just wish i had a choice...as it is i drink iced tea for free for the week ...would gladly pay the $47 charge for a Pepsi Pass......sigh
With the "Cola Wars" it is impossible to have Coke and Pepsi products offered at the same time but I sure wish it could be. As a die hard Coke addict I would resort to a Coke smuggler if it wasn't available. At this time I'm on the lucky side of the cola wars. I do empathize with the Pepsi drinkers but I'm happy I'm on the side I'm on.

Oh HECK yes! Pepsi & Mountain Dew please! And make it free! What's the deal with charging $1.50+ for a fountain soda! It may be small and petty, but this is my #1 dislike on a cruise, that soft drinks are an extra charge. Geez, out of a fountain, it probably is no more than 10 cents a glass. Even the "drink cards" are way over priced. I can buy a 2 liter of Pepsi for a $1. Yes, I'm a Pepsi smuggler as well and will continue to be until it is offered on board and it is reasonably priced.
Another Pepsi addict, first port I get to I usually buy a six pack to take back to the room.

Coke does have a lock on all the lines right now and when I drink a soft drink it is a Pepsi product with the exception of Barq's. <G> I understand the business part though and Coke ponied up the biggest pot for all of them but maybe someday Pepsi will make it in there. In either case I can understand why cruiselines don't say anything about people bringing in a case of their preferred soft drink.
My guess is it is like the airlines. The better the the contract price that is who they go with for soda.
Just hit the store in port and purchase the soda of choice. You have to pay for it on the ship, why not buy it in the port.

I drink the punch and lemonade for the week. But if i feel like a soda i will buy a sprite. the caffeine gets to me otherwise. its Diet Caffeine free Pepsi at home. So I make up for it when I get home. happy cruising....
I prefer Coke, but I really could care less what line of pop I am drinking. In the end, they seem a lot alike, but thats just me. My parents bought the soda card for my brother and I and we probably drank our worth of it. .

Until the lines are released from the contract with Coke or fail to renew then you will just have to bring your own Pepsi products. We have on occasion brought a six pack of Pepsi onboard, no problem.
I prefer Diet Pepsi but have had the Coke O and it sure does taste good compared to alot of Diet drinks. Has no aftertaste, so I hope by time we get on The Voyager in November they have that onboard, I will be a happy camper, as for the rest of the family, they are all Pepsi Drinkers but will settle for Coke and live with it.
We are pepsi fans too. When we get to a port we usually buy a six
pack of diet pepsi and bring it on Board. I could not stand to have
no diet pepsi for the entire duration of a cruise. Last tour we brought
a 2 liter caffeine free for me and a reg. diet pepsi for hubby. Just had
to have it! Hope this helps. Just bring your own.
