Default To Carnival - juices

We were on the Valor in January, and my suggestion to Carnival is to either serve DECENT orange juice, or don't offer it at all! The OJ was simply AWFUL.

The OJ - and I LOVE orange juice - tasted like they mixed real orange juice and Tang and then watered it down 50/50. It was simply undrinkable.

Now their lemonade was great! Just wonderful. And a further suggestion for that...how about having the lemonade available for breakfast? Our group of 6 all would have been drinking that, since the OJ was vile.

Thx for listening!

Anni

The OJ on the Liberty was okay. Just off the Shapphire Princess and their OJ was fine but very surprised they charged for fresh squeezed OJ!!

Default How To Get The Best Orange Juice For Breakfast

1.Bring one of those portable dollar orange juice squeezers
2.Take about four oranges from the buffet area
3. Cut in half and squeeze
4. Now you have the best orange juice you can have

Why not take lemonade from the machines, they are all over the buffet deck? Mix the punch with the lemonade, that is really refreshing.

ESS- Hey, sounds like great OJ, but also sounds like WORK, and I don't do that on a cruise! LOL Truly, I wouldn't want to bother bringing the juicer, and wouldn't want to hassle getting it to the buffet and then having to go back to my room to put it away. Thx for the suggestion, though.

Jacqueline - I would have drunk a LOT more of the lemonade if it had been available all day. It wasn't in the machines in the morning - it didn't show up until lunch time. It sure was good, though!

CA cruiser - it's nice to know that different ships have different standards - I'll give it a try on the next one we're on - which looks like it will be the Triumph, but not until next year.

Anni,
Also on the HAL, we had fresh squeezed OJ every morning for free and we put the oranges in the machine ourselves. Fun to watch and tasted wonderful.
