Perks should also be by how many days we have sailed and not the number of cruises we have taken.

Some already give discounts to past passengers via coupons or reduced prices on balconies, but I hear ya! I'd much prefer a shipboard credit to a cocktail party (I don't drink and have yet to go to one of these) or bag/souviner (donate them to Salvation Army or give to kids on shore).

I like the coupon books that are placed in your cabin, but it seems they have become less and less "lucrative" as time goes on. Here are some that I like:
Free soda
Free Bingo
Free picture
Free Ben & Jerry's
Behind the scenes tours
Casino discounts

I think it would be nice if they had a coupon like :
X % off your sign and sail. It could be capped or tiered with maybe even something like first $10 free.
Free "upscale" dining (don't know if I'd use it, but I definitely won't pay for the alternative upscale dining)

...but I think my favorite one, which would be within reach of being offered, would be "free soda during your cruise!"

I agree about the cocktail party. Even though I do drink, some ships have the parties at some odd times lately, which make them less than desirable. It is usually difficult to get a decent drink at these events and something useful (like OBC) would certainly be appreciated in its place.

Some line's repeat passenger offers are better than others and while some do have good rates on reunion type cruises often times they are not at the best of times. Upgrades would most certainly be enjoyed! Haven't had one of those in a very long time.

How do you know about these perks? Do they just show up when you get to your room? We told our TA that we had sailed on Princess before so I assume they know we're repeat customers.

It shows what past guests are "entitled" to. Also, check your "history" on the Princess site (under "Member Profile") and make sure your previous cruise is listed.
