Default please make the cabins bathroom larger n comfortable.

Why don't Princess and other cruislines make the bathrooms in the staterooms a little larger and comfortable. We had a balcony on the Caribe deck and the bathroom was a joke. I mean they could have utilize some of the space where the closet was and expanded the bathroom. It was ridiculous. If u are over 200lbs. u can forget it. For example, the toilet is a shelf extending from the wall and so close to the shower and not even a foot from the sink. Just a suggestion.

This is actually a good thing! You can do your "business", wash your hands, and take a shower all at the same time !

The cruise lines don't want to take up space with the bathrooms. They'd rather add sq. ft. to the cabin and the closet.

I know I'd rather have closet space than bathroom space! (And I'm not "little" !) As long as I can shower without the shower curtain "chasing" me, I'm fine!

on my very first cruise in 1976, I remember there were not bathrooms in the cabins where 4 people shared and we had to walk to the end of the hall.

So thus, due to the cookie cutter assembly of today's modern ship cabins, unless you want to pay more for a higher grade cabin, a small bathroom is a trade off

besides if you spend alot of time in the bathroom, you are not spending money in the casino (smile)

Well I have found a few ships that had decent sized bathrooms. the Carnival fanasty class ships do. Celebrity zenith had a niced sized bathroom and HAL and Dsiney have niced sized bathrooms.

I just want to feel like I have room to move when I take a shower. I am fairly small but on some ships like the Mariners of the Seas and the Carnival Miracle both-I felt like part of me could not fully fit inthe shower it was so small-it was just like the comedians' favorite joke-soap up the walls and take a spin!!!

I was just on the carnival glory and the bathroom was just fine for simeone my size or larger. I didn't feel at all cramped. The cabin was just fine. i didn't like the standing water though.
so I guess you can say that all ships have their good and bad points. The Pincess I think should rethink their bath and closet space.

I am 6 foot 230 and although I agree the shower was cramped (no romantic showers for two ). Overall I managed just fine. I agree with Fern that I would not want to give up closet space for more bathroom space. I also like the convenience of getting all bathroom functions done in one "sitting" .
