Default Airport in Long Beach

We are thinking of taking the Diamond Princess to Hawaii on Nov. 3, 2007 out of San Pedro. We would like to fly from San Francisco to Long Beach and would like to know how to get from Long Beach Airport to the ship in San Pedro. Probably will do Princess Transfers. Any help would be greatly appreciated............

The cruise line transfers are probably your best bet. There are shuttle services, but they don't have quite the same motivation to get you there on time. L.A. traffic is not as bad as they say, it is worse. Lived there 13 years and you truly never know how long it will take to get somewhere.
Just my opinion. Taxi could cost you a lot, too.

It is approximately 16 miles from the airport to the cruise terminal. In normal traffic is will take about 30 minutes. The Long Beach airport is very easy to get in and out of. The 2 shuttles around are PrimeTime and Super Shuttle. As far as the traffic is concerned, yes it can be bad but we just know when to go in which direction for the best travel time. If you fly in that morning around 9am you should be to the port by 10:30 after getting your luggage. Enjoy!
