The Fiancee and I are getting married next May and are planning the cruise. About 3-4 months ago she went to a wedding show here in Orlando, and came back with all the flyers from the different cruise lines. I always grab the Royal Caribbean first, as I have used them many times before and have always been impressed. So I look through all the possible different scenarios of possible honeymoons, and I come across TransAtlantic cruises, with *I believe* Royal Caribbean. With my family being from the UK, and us wanting to travel there, I thought this was a great possibility. Here was the basic itinerary...
Leave FL (I know there are many ports, can't remember which one)...
1 Day At Sea
1 Day in Bermuda
3-4 Days at Sea
Arrive at South Hampton England
It was a nice, somewhat brief cruise which would definately satisfy our needs, and give us lots of time to spend overseas.
Fast forward 3-4 months, I CAN'T FIND THIS CRUISE ANYWHERE! Royal Caribbean tell me I'm crazy, that the ship can't go that fast. Now I have a somewhat photographic memory, and I can picture this trip in my head, and I promise I wasn't sleeping!
If anyone call tell me what cruise line this is on, or if it actually exists, that would be great. I know i'm not crazy, but trying to find it is making me crazy!
Suggest you contact a Travel Agent. My favorite is Nancy who handles a great many of the CruiseMates special cruises. Check those cruises on this board cuz I can't give you the complete info on her - against CM policy.
She's excellent at returning emails and/or phone calls and has given me outstanding deals. She also is a top seller for Princess, RCI, Celebrity, NCL - so very knowledgeable.
If not her, try another TA - they should have the info.
I cruise the Emerald Princess, Eastern Caribbean on April 16, 2012
Sounds to me like either a Cunard cruise or RCI repo cruise.
Freedom Of The Seas -07
Radiance Of The Seas-07
Adventure Of The Seas-05
Navigator Of The Seas-04
Soverign Of The Seas-02
Big Red Boat-93
Yes, it could have been a one time repositioning cruise. Given that you looked at brochures a couple of months ago, it may very well have happened already.
Hope you find something equally appealing.
