help me pick the right cruise line

I am planning my next cruise on NCL out of Charleston, SC. First time on this line. I have been on Carnival and RC. But, I went on one of the msg boards and heard neg. stuff about NCL, now I am having doubts.

I don't go for broadway shows or bar scenes. Reckon I have a little redneck in me. I like the men's hairy chest contests and men's pretty legs contests. It's way more entertaining. I am married female, probably cruising alone for the first time. the thought of having the privacy of my own cabin all to myself is a dream come true. hubby won't go. everyone else has an excuse. I am nonsmoking too.

since you are cruising alone - make it an adventure; try a new line and find out for yourself - certainly NCL can't be soo bad as they are still in business and still have repeat customers.

That is true, just enjoy what you have purchased and have a great time.

My first cruise in the 80's was on NCL. Since it was my first, I did not have anything to compare it to. My travel partner had financial difficulties and had to back out at the last minute. I did not let that stop me. I don't NCL charged me a single suppliment. It was a smaller ship back then, compared to the monster ships they are building now, it was a baby. I really like the bigger ones.

Well, I sort of lucked out. While waiting to board the ship, I met a lady my age. She was traveling with her aunt, whom had lost her husband. We hung out the entire trip, like we were old friends, so things worked out for me. Dont Worry, you should have a good time.
