Has anyone taken a taxi from the San Juan airport to the cruise port? RCCL transfers are $30 per person to and from the port.
Do you know how much a taxi is for two persons (and possibly four people) plus bags? Cruised out of San Juan many times but only with cruise line transfers. Looking for a cheaper and easier way.
Here is the phone number to call to see if quotes have been changed .

When you come out of the AP terminal there will be an ENORMOUS slow moving line & you will be overwhelmed by the heat & humidity. You will get on this line with all of your stuff & wait in an organized manner while you & every other passanger from a minimum of 5 ships (think 5 x 2000 = 10,000 people) waits for a taxi.
Even though it is more expensive, San Juan is the only port I have been to where I would recommend you take the cruise line's shuttle service. Instead of standing in the heat & humidity you will sit & wiat in an air conditioned bus.
I've never had a long wait for a taxi in San Juan, I think it depends on the time. First you go to the taxi stand inside where you just picked up your luggage and get a ticket. Then you go out and get into the taxi line, should be around $25 plus tips, will also depend on how much luggage you have. Its still a lot faster than waiting on the bus and less money.
