Single cruising
I find that I now must cruise without a partner and as now I do not want to share a cabin.Does anyone know of a cruise line that just doesn't double a rate for a single?

Some cruise lines will charge only 150% for a single cruiser. Then, occasionally cruise lines will run singles specials. There are a number of single cruise specialist TA's out there.........I suggest you post your question on the Single Cruisers Board here......just be prepared for a lot of Vacations to Go referrals. But, there are other TA's that work to find single cruisers specials. Good luck!

I have done the shared accommodation and won't do it again. I'd gladly pay 150% and more to have a cabin all to myself. My last cruise I knew when and were I wanted to go, but I was waiting for a sale to pop up and it did. I ended up paying less than the original price and I got a two deck upgrade.

I don't like inside or oceanview cabins, so I got for balcony cabins. I'd consider a Cat 8A, but being right below the stores and such might not be preferable, I still like decks 8-11. I'd go deck 7, but there are no relguar cabins close to the central atrium, only suites..
