We had this discussion last evening, and don't know the answer. Sure wonderful people here can answer! The times listed in the itinerary - are they Atlantic time zone or Eastern? Traveling to So. Caribbean next month, and now wondering about docking times. If itinerary says 7am - 5:30pm, is that the local island time, or Eastern (standard or daylight?)?
That will be local Island time except in rare instances when "ship time" is used due to some local conflict in times. If they use any but local time, no one would get back to the ship on time
Absolutely correct. if there are any differences, the cruise director or the captain will use the public address system to advise of the differences. Had that happen on the Grand Pricess in '04. The ship remained on Mountain Time even while we were in Georgetown. Of course, the biggest question was, why were we on Mountian Time to begin with when we left Galveston, a central Time zone port.
Cruised more times than I can remember.
