Default roomies booking separately?

Maybe this is a new one for you experts. Here is the situation.

For our next trip, hubby and I were thinking of doing the 7 night Mexican Riviera cruise. Cardplayer (Magazine) Cruises has arranged a poker cruise on Holland America's Oosterdam Nov. 29 - Dec. 6 '08. In order to take part in their poker games/tournaments, you have to book through them and their rates are a couple hundred dollars more than booking directly through HAL.

I understand that you are paying extra for the poker part of the cruise, but I won't be playing poker. So my question is -- Is it possible to book my travel directly through HAL or a TA and book hubby through Cardplayer, but have both of us booked into the same room?

Am I crazy??

Thanks in advance.

I would think that the single traveler option would kick in for you both and be waaaayyy more expensive then the couple of extra hundred dollars you are referring to.

Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Courage and perserverance have a magical talisman; before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish into the air.

Pick your company wisely! Hang around people who are going to help you become all God created you to be.
