Default Another first timer

Going to Mediterrean in the fall.
Can someone let me in on "hidden expenses" I am going on Celebrity
The drinks are extra,,,that one I got,,,but do you have to pay for any food on board if you want a snack?
Someone told me to give tips at the last nite of the cruise,,,is that acceptable or should do it as we go?

You will be asked if you want to have the tps put on your onboard account, so you do not need to carry cash for the main tipping. You can add a tip to any receipt you sign, so no cash is needed.

Expect to pay about $9/per person/day for tips.

All the food onboard will be "free" - a small tip is nice if you order room service, You can sign for it or hand them $1.00

If you dine in the "special" restuarant you charge it to your onboard acct.

Port trips were a BIG one for us.....

A trip to Rome cost us £95 per person!! ($191 !!! )
This tour was very compact and even took us inside the Vatican fast tracking the long queues, and inc a 3 course lunch with a glass of wine..

Florenece AND Pisa was £70pp ($141) pp

So our tours alone cost us a fortune....

We always have some photos too, and I usually buy something from the ships shop.... but for us wine with our meal, other drinks onboard and the tours are the main expenses...

P&O Arcadia -Canaries, Aurora- Bruges, Arcadia -Med, Aurora Amsterdam, -Arcadia -Venice, and Ventura Bruges. In 2009 - Oriana and Oceana Fjords.
