Default Books Set on a Caribbean Cruise

I am looking for a book set on a Caribbean cruise for a friend's birthday. She will be taking a Western Caribbean cruise this summer, her 1st cruise. I know she has read "Skinny Dip" (loaned her my copy). Looking for something like that.

WOW, Trip, that is quite a list. Although, since it is her first cruise, maybe the murder mystery ones should be left out.

I bought a novel by the author Christopher Moore by the title of "A Dirty Job." I was glad I bought it, it was truly a funny book. That author has a strange sense of humor. I bought one and as soon as I got back I bought three more of his novels, and eventually (in under 8 weeks) I had read all 10 of his novels.

The characters in the novels can carry over and appear in other novels, and some of the towns/settings are in multiple books as well. I read them all, but the one that I dragged through was "Lamb-The Gospel of Jesus's Childhood Pal, Biff." It was good reading, I am glad I read it.

It is also good to note that most of the novels are betweek 250-400ish pages. The average is around 300, so an easy read in a week while on vacation (or on a plane flying to and from port).

A Dirty Job
Island of the Sequined Love Nun (read before PD/LLofMC/SA--recurring character needs to be discovered before reading SA)
Lust Lizard of Melancoly Cove (read after Practical Demon Keeping)
Practical Demonkeeping (read first)
The Stupidest Angel (read after PDC and LLofMC)
You Suck! (read after You Suck)
Bloodsucking Fiends (read before Bloodsucking Fiend)
Lamb-The Gospel According to Jesus's Childhood Pal, Biff (recurring character from Stupidest Angel)
Fluke-or I know why the Winged Whale Sings
Coyote Blue

Some of the characters will grow on you, ANY and ALL of the Pine Cove residents are memorable.

Happy reading!
