I did this yrs ago, and wish I could remember exactly what happened, but I believe my new agency handled the transfer. I was a customer of this agency for several cruises, and, no one even called me to find out why I made the transfer, to see if I was unhappy, etc..I felt even stronger, that I made the right decision.

Got through to some in Latitudes during daylight hours who made it quite easy. They had 2 ways to do it but the one recommended by the NCL rep was to simply call VCA and cancel since we are not in the penalty stage. In the meantime she put a hold on the cabin we wanted and I am to call her back in 48 hours to notify her that I am offically transferred and rebook.
The other format was a little more convoluted and would be best used if you were transferring to another agency. I decided since I needed NCL to help me out it was best to just let them have the booking.
Trip, thanks for your help. In 33 cruises I've had a few blips but never a problem like this. Live and learn. I thought all the agencies on cruise compete would probably be reputable but obviously not.
