Southwest Airlines

I have yo find my own air for my cruise in January, but everything I am finding is astronomical! I know it it just off the Xmas/New Year week, but c'mon, $1500 for a flight to Miami (US on United).

I am wondering if it is easier to fly to the nearest US city that Southwest flies to then get a affordable Southwest flight from there. I am going to have to see if this will be cheaper or if it will work at all. I have to do this because the odds of a seat sale at that time are slim, and I truly don't want to spend more than the cruise cost on airfare!!!

Southwest will get you to Fort Lauderdale for about $100 to $300 less than any other airline will qoute you going to Miami.

I'll have to keep checking. I checked the site but flights that far in advanced are not allowing me to select that month.

SWA only books 6 months out. But why are you complaining about prices, eh, you are paid in Canadian dollars? Sure wish I was.
