I'm a rising 3rd year student planning to go on a cruise two other friends over the spring break (beginning of March).
As college students, we can only afford to go to 3 to 4 days cruises to the Bahamas. I have looked into Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and NCL. Carnival seems to be the cheapest but you need to be 25 to cruise (I am only 20). RC and NCL said that as long as someone in the group is over 21, we can go. Since both of my friends will be 21 by that time, it should be fine.
So we came down to two ships, NCL's Norwegian Sky and RC's Majesty of the Seas.
Any comments, suggestions for choosing between these two ships would be greatly appreciated. We also would like a recommendation for a good travel agent.
All three of us are pretty outgoing, but we don't like to party or drink too much. We just want an affordable, memorable vacation
I have been on Majesty and she's a beautiful ship and had a wonderful cruise. She is smaller than the new ships but you can have just as much fun. The beer is just as cold on Majesty as it is on the other ships. I have never sailed NCL, so I can't comment on that line.
