Default Ballroom Dancing

Greetings All!

I have 2 passengers who only want to cruise where there will be ballroom dancing and their available departure dates are not condusive to being able to book on Cunard. (Dec 27-30) They are looking for a 7-10 day cruise.

I have contact Holland America but they can not guarantee there will be space available for it and leave it up to the cruise director when on board. (no help to me)

Does anyone know what the likelihood would be that they would have ballroom dancing on any particular line or ship.

I was looking at the Eurodam Dec 27 or Westerdam Dec 28 and send an email to the activities coordinator for both ships.. any help would be appreciated..

Keep one thing in mind too, most dance floors on ships are small. We once had a wonderful pair of dancers on one cruise, and they were hindered by the size of the floor and the dancers arouind them.

Trip, with her book & tea!

Regent Seven Seas Voyager and Seven Seas Mariner both have a professional ballroom dance couple on board in addition to the regular dance instructors. The give ballroom dance lessons on board. In addition, on longer cruises, they hold a dancing with the stars competition that is run just like the show with a series of eliminations.

Their website is www.rssc.com. I would contact them directly to make sure that any sailings you identify for them will have the ballroom dancers. By the way, I have spent New Year's Eve on both Seven Seas Mariner and Voyager and had wonderful experiences.

I just found out that Princess has ballroom dancing on ALL their ships!

You learn something new every day! ... maybe I should just pay better attention when I am on board. :o
