Default Typical seas in the Med in the summer months

Am considering a saling trip in the Med summer of 2008 (Star Clipper maybe). Am relatively familiar with the Atlantic storm season and I have pretty good idea of risks of sailing at various times. How about the Med? Are there good and bad months as far as a storm season?

Thanks,
Bob

I have sailed the Med in June and August and both times have experienced relatively mild seas. (0' - 5 or 7'). We never had any issues but like anything to do with the seas it can change from day to day and year to year. For the most part you should have relatively calm seas but there is never a guarantee.

Take care,
Mike
