Default Theft on Cruise ships.....???

Does anyone know of any product currently out there that is good for bringing on a cruise ship to where I can lock my stuff on a cruise while I am swimming or running on the track?

On my last cruise, my family and I ran into some theft problems out on the pool deck. My Aunt had her iPod stolen right off of her beach chair

Default Cabin Safe

I would not bring expensive electronic items to the deck if i plan to swim or jog...leave them in your cabin safe. Otherwise i know of nothing to offer as a suggestion for securing it while away from you chair.

ITA - why would anyone leave something of value just laying about and then get upset when it goes missing? Just doesn't make sense. Leave it locked in the safe (or at least in the cabin) or keep it with you.

I found this handy little item on google. It might become more and more popular for travel. It is called the Beach Safe for $20 and can be attached to lounge chairs. Anyone seen or have one?

That's a great idea....so many people bring ipods to the pool, and why shouldn't anyone do just that, and, this could be the perfect thing!
