Default Shots needed for Mexico?

Does anyone know if I need any shots to go to Mexico? We will stop in Cabo, Mazatlan and PV.

maybe some shots of tequila after you see the place, but, seriously, i've been on two cruises there and didn't need the kind of shots you are thinking of.

No shots that I know of. But, it's important to note that you can't give blood for a while after visiting different ports. Roatan is one. I was very surprised when I showed up to give blood.

No shots required to a cruise to the Mexican Riviera. It is always a good idea, when traveling, to make sure your Hepatitis A and B are up to date as well as your tetanus.

Stop by your doctor and verify what you need. That's always the best advice.

Take care,

I might also add my doc gave me a script for Cipro to have on hand just in case I needed it. He said you never know but here it is and take it with you.

I am up to date on all my shot and all, I didn't end up filling the script so I still have it on hand if I ever need it.

Default Shots In Mexico

We have traveled across the border into Mexico, flown into Mexico City and just finished three stops on a cruise ship. We have never had to have any shots of any kind for Mexico. Check the State Department's site before you leave if you have any questions about any country requiring shots. Good sailing

Hello Fellowcruisers,

I decided to get a couple of shots just to be on the safe side. You just never know, so I got a tetanus, Hepatitis A and the annual flu shot.

Just think about going to a beach and stepping on something that you cannot see in the water or in the sand!!

Believe it or not it happened to me and thank goodness I did not get sick. I went straight to my doctor and she gave me a tetanus shot which by the way, it good for 10 years.
