Default Margarittaville- Ocho Rios

We will be going to Grand Cayman and Ocho rios the week after next and want to get a plan for our port days. Grand Cayman we are doing Sting Ray City, going to book a charter from online rather than through Carnival.

On Ocho rios we are not really sold on any excursions, do not want to do Dunn River Falls for several reasons. We considered rafting the white river but it hardly seems worth it for a 45 minute rafting trip.

I really want to fit in some time on beach on one of the two so as of now I am leaning towards margarittaville We are both 25 years old and enjoy the occasional adult beverage (or a few) so this seems like a great option.

All suggestions or comments are welcome.

Thank you in advance,

Jonathan

I would raft the river and then go to Margaritaville; the rafting was enjoyable and good times at M'Ville

The same place that has the river rafting also has the Canopy tour. Can't speak highly enough of that one, great fun...There was an option after the ride back to go to Margarittaville if you wished, so you can easily do both.

I will check the canopy tour out tomorrow. Based on the times listed, i'm sure we will have time for both. Thank you for the suggestions so far.

I certainly will, thank you. My g/f and I are going to look online this weekend and figure it out. I really want to book it no later than Tuesday (1 week in advance) to make sure there are no issues when we get there.

I was in Ocho Rios two weeks ago and I did a totally unforgettable excursion. I did Jamaica Bobsled. You get picked up at the port and it is a very quick drive to Mystic Mountain where you go up ont he chairlift to the top. I have to admit, there isn't much up there, BUT there is a pool, big waterslide, and a restaurant. The bobsled run is amazing!!!! Goto youtube and key in jamaica bobsled and you'll see videos posted of peoples run. I didn't bother waiting until the first run was done, I bought two more runs before I wet the first time!!! I didn't regret it. I wish the initial excursion gave us two runs instead of one because I could have gone four or five times!!!! The trip up/down the chairlift is a good 15-20 minutes and the views are wonderful!!!!

Mystic Mountain also has a zipline adventure, so if your into that, you can do the zipline as well! Judging by the hoots, hollars, n screams from the people on the zip line they all had a good time. I know there were multiple zipline poins through the forest and the people on the bus said the 20 foot drop was fun...I wouldn't think so...

Margaritaville--It is in Island Village shopping area and when I was there it was quite popular (lunch time). The walk from the pier gates to Island Village is at best 3 or 4 minutes and VERY safe. I am a single woman and had no problems at all. Also, you will have passengers coming back and forth all day long so it is very safe.
