Default Purchasing photos – suggested procedure

We usually buy a couple of photos on each of our cruises. However, we want to hold down the cost and be selective. If you are not careful, you wind up with too many of those $10 - $20 photos. Here is what we do:

If we see a photo we might want, we do not buy it immediately. Instead we have the photo shop save it in a file behind the photo desk. (They do it by room number.) On the last day of the cruise we look over all the photos we have saved and buy only the best ones.

The Oasis of The Seas has the best solution on pictures I have seen yet. They do not have walls and walls of pictures for you to go through and try to find yours. They have poles with binders or folders on them like carosels with numbers and/or letters (can't quite rember has it has been 10 months) that correspond with your name on a computer screen. All your pictures from the whole cruise as they are taken are placed in this one folder for you to go through whenever you want until the last day. Always easy to find and look at.

I stopped taking pictures years ago, but, it sure is about time they changed the procedure for selecting what you want! Good for the Oasis, and, all the cruise lines should follow suit.....great idea!

Thanks Sol,
I really like the way they do that, what a time saver if you are just looking for your photos. You can still enjoy looking at all the rest if you wish.
