Since hioliday sailings are usually quite high, I don't thing there is much wiggle room, for the best bang.....maybe consider one of RCI's newer ships.. Freedom, Liberty, Oasis... so much to do, for all the ages mentioned..

If you are looking for bargains - the MSC Poesia 7-night “Happy Holidays, Caribbean-Style” Eastern Caribbean itinerary departs Fort Lauderdale Dec. 20 and calls at San Juan, Puerto Rico; St. John’s, Antigua; Philipsburg, St. Maarten; and Nassau, Bahamas, before returning to Florida.

The ship will be decorated with Christmas trees and seasonal music will fill the public areas. Guests will spend Christmas at sea with a special Midnight Mass, gifts for children, Christmas quizzes and games and plenty of entertainment, as well as a gala Christmas dinner. Cruise-only rates begin at $699.

Your kids should be able to cruise free (double-check this with a qualified cruise agent). They are always free on MSC Cruises.
