Default Re-positioning cruises

Where do I find information on re-positioning cruises? We would like to book one for next year, but not even sure what months these occur.
Thanks for any help here.

I would ask my TA.

She allways has all the answers.

Most are in the fall and spring.
Fall would be Europe to the Caribbean , Alaska to Asia or Caribbean or Southern California.
Spring is the reverse.
If you go to Vacations to go , they lisy many repo cruises for 2010
and some for 2011.

I DO read the articles, but I believe I stated that I am interested in re-positioning cruises for NEXT year, and that would include the easterly cruises at this point in time. That is my main interest.
Thank you for the reprimand.

I'm sorry, it was late at night. I am glad you read the articles, though.

Ir is easy to find the cruises just go to a cruise agency search engine and select "transatlantic"

Are transatlantic the only repositioning cruises left? Just curious, as I sometimes like these, as they go to different ports than round trip.

No - there are still ships coming down the west coast from Alaska. Some go all the way to Florida while many stop in California.

Some ships are coming from Europe to South America.

There are all sorts of repo cruises. In a month we're leaving from NYC and heading to the Virgin Islands, Aruba, Curacao, then into Central America and ending in Miami, Then in March or April, you will see that cycle reversed where they leaving areas down south like Florida, New Orleans, etc. and heading elsewhere.

We've done NCL's repo's and have had a great time. they are generally about 2 weeks long in many cases, and the pricing is usually very good. If you are looking for a bargain, The NCL Spirit out of New Orleans is generally pretty a pretty inexpensive cruise, I was surprised though that the repo on the Jewel (a much newer ship) really only cost us about $500 more for our family of four, plus we're in a mini suite on the Jewel, while the Spirit only offers inside cabins for quads (4 people). So I felt like we got a lot of bang for our buck out of this years repo (however, that included a 20% Union Discount)
I actually decided to reactivate my membership in the Musician Union so I could take advantage of the Union Discount on NCL. It paid off big time on this cruise, but we booked it almost a year in advance.

8) We're leaving Oct. 27 from Boston for 10 nights on Jewel of the Seas to San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Croix, Aruba, and ending up in Miami. We did the same cruise last year and loved it. Great price, too. 8)
