Parking in San Pedro

I live a 45 minute drive away (Costa Mesa) and will be driving in. I've heard parking is around $12 a day (I'm on Princess if that matters). Would it be cheaper to take a cab? Is there an more affordable lot around?

a 45 minute cab ride both ways in LA is going to cost you about the same as paying the $84 for parking. But parking there sire is more comvenient.

I honestly don't know about any alternative lots, but since there aren't any airports or similar around there I doubt if there are any alternatives - unless you want to chance parking in McDonalds lot in San Pedro.

Not all shuttles are just from the airport. We use Super Shuttle because it is cheaper than the parking rates and it is roundtrip from our home to the port.

Thanks, I asked for a fare quote. RT for 2 would be around 100, a little more than what I've heard parking is for 7 days (84). Guess I'll be parking like everyone else.
