luggage storage before flight

Our flight doesn't leave Ft. Lauderdale until 7:30 p.m. We don; want to take a tour, but would like to explore the city on our own. What can we do with our luggage? Can't leave it onthe ship, and can't check it in early at the airport? Looking for suggestions.

Ok, this may seem off the cuff...I have been at the airport much earlier then my flight,and checked my baggage...soooo

Why can't you go to the airport and check in, the luggage is sent to the baggage area, to be loaded, granted it's early..It's not left unattended anywhere..so...take a cab to the beach area, or the Galleria Mallf or instance, and then cab back, in plenty of time for the flight?

i would consider Trips suggestion, look into storing your luggage at the airport, if thats not an option you might consider renting a car, to explore the city and that way you can just throw your luggage in the trunk, or you could get a day room at a hotel

Our friends just had the same situation in February and they checked theirs in with a Skycab to hold it because I think you can only check in luggage 6 hours before your flight.

Princess offers Easy Off luggage for (I think) a $20.00 fee. I did this coming back from Alaska.

You won't see your luggage until your final destination. I found this well worth the money.
