Princess is sending another ship to Australia. Isn't it somewhat surprising that this continent with the same population as California can support all these curise ships?
Well, thats not the reason - it is the strength of the Australian dollar. They have been virtually untouched by the economic downturn and the OZ dollar is very strong. That's why the cruise lines are all going there.

We cruised Australia/New Zealand last year and absolutely loved it. There was so much to see - it's an incredibly beautiful area. We spent 14 days on the ship (of course getting off in all the ports) and still didn't have enough time to see everything.
