Default drinks-pay as you go?

Can you pay cash for your drinks as you go, or does it always have to be added on to your room tab?

Ship's are a "cashless" system. All charges are put on your onboard account.

You will pay for your drinks using your ship's card which is also your room key. The bars, or other venues, do not take cash. The only time a ship will take cash is on the very last morning.

Take care,
Mike

It is possible that she set up a cash account with the purser's desk.

To do this you deposit $250 or more with the purser's desk and use your ship's card until the money runs out or you are notified, by customer service, that you will need to add more money to your cash account.

You still use your card for all purchases but you do back it up with cash, on deposit, instead of using your credit card to back up the ship's card.

Take care,
Mike
