Default Transportation to the port?

I'm flying into FLL, however my cruise is out of Miami. What is the best way to get from FLL to the port? Also, any suggestions for hotels in the Miami area (we're flying in a day early)?

Most cruise lines offer bus transportation to the port from FLL. However, since u are arriving a day prior you will need to get a shuttle. there are a few shuttle services at the airport. Google FLL airport to Miami and you will get a few shuttle services. Good Luck

A nice shuttle is called SAS shuttle and they do runs between Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. The web site is ridesas.com I believe.

I always like the Holiday Inn Bayside in Miami, it is right next to the Miami port.

the shuttle is the way to go. As for hotels, there are so many to choose from, the ones in and around the marketplace are a good bet, most have shuttle service to the cruise pier, we stayed at the Holiday Inn West , nice, clean, nice pool and about 20 minutes from the pier
