Default First time Cruiser

Hello I have wanted to go on a cruise for a few years now, but just never seemed to do it. But I would like to book a cruise for May of 2011 with my girlfriend. I am 24 years old and she is 21. So ideally I am looking for somewhat of a party cruise, but I have no idea where to start. I live in New York so preferably I would like for it to depart from here, but if I have to drive a few hours its not the end of the world. But which cruise line do you guys suggest? I would like to travel to the caribbean, which parts are the best? I know its hard to predict which age group will be on it, but I am looking for a cruise that has a decent amount of people in my age group. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

You might want to do a cruise to Bermuda which sails from midtown Manhattan . The cruises are generally 7 days .

There are also cruises to the caribbean that sail from Brooklyn as well as New Jersey

I would check out the Royal Caribbean cruises out of New Jersey; NCL out of New York or the cruises going out of Baltimore.

The Royal Caribbean cruises will be more active and a more "party" atmosphere.

The biggest party cruises are the 3 and 4 day cruises but a seven day is more bang for your buck and you can make "almost" any cruise a fun and party atmosphere.

Take care,

I agree with Mike' suggestions,a Royal Caribbean cruise out of New Jersey would suit your needs very well, i would take it one step further and go talk to a travel agent.

Beware! You may enjoy the cruise so much that you become a 'regular'.

Don't worry, it will be FUN!
