Has anyone ever walked to the Atlantis and back from the Nassau port? Is it do-able? We like to walk, but wonder if we should try it.
Atlantis is on Paradise Island, which is across the bay from where the Cruise Ships dock in Nassau. The easiest way to get there is a water taxi. There is a bridge, but it's kinda far from the docks, and I'm not sure you can walk over it.

I would suggest the water taxi or regular taxi. The walk from the cruise port to Atlantis is really too far.

By the time you all got there, you would be too tired to enjoy yourself, and guarenteed, you would taxi back.....way too far, this is not a casual walk.

For someone who likes to walk, it's quite do-able.
Note on the attached GoogleEarth photo, the cruise ship port boxed in on the left middle, and the Atlantis Resort boxed in on the upper right. It's not so far for folks who like a good walk. The bridge does have a pedestrian sidewalk, I've crossed it on foot many times.
If time gets tight, take the water taxi one way.
Enjoy!
