Well, it isn't "amazing" but it is interesting. Once again, when I see things like this I am reminded how often the media protrays cruisers as "softies" who are old and infirm.

There are people getting tossed around a lot in this video, including the woman who hits the pole (ouch! sorry). And it keeps going. But I am guessing they mostly toughed it out.

Kudos to the crew for trying the help as much as possible.

Please trust us on this one - that would be EXTREMELY rare. Besides that, I dont think anyone was hurt. It is just a little chaotic for a minute for so.

If your first cruise is in the Caribbean I'll bet you forget you are even on a ship.

Paul - you scooped NBC - they showed this video at the end of the Nightly News last night. Brian Williams said the video is from sometime in 2008.

Carolina - you would be hard pressed to find anyone on these boards who has experienced anything like this. The odds weigh heavily in your favor.
