Default Hurricanes - should I worry?

We are looking to book a Caribbean cruise that leaves in early October (it's spur of the moment). I have found myself worrying a great deal about hurricanes - is there any concern? (Safety - not port changes - is what I'm thinking of). It's probably absurd, but our two other cruises were in April and we had very rough seas at least one of the days each time - and that was not during hurricane season!

Thanks so much.

Best advice is to have fun. If there is any hurricane action during your cruise; the captain will just re-route the ship so you aren't bothered by the hurricane.

The Captain is an expert at steering away from any storm. Could there by higher seas, yes, but a bit of rolling is part of that.

Also as we saw here today in Boston, be prepared to get a different itinerary if storms happen. Bermuda cruisers on NCL Spirit, are now headed to Cape Canaveral, and Nassau.

I have cruised in October many times, and, will agsin next month, & had only one "almost" moment... ship happens Go, and have a ball!
