Just trying to get a handle on the price of cocktails on cruise ships. While we are not great drinkers ... and I would rather have my wits about me with all that water around.... I would probably like a fruity/frosty cocktail while on board. So how much do they run? I have heard a rumor that they are "expensive", but that word is relative depending on where one is used to buying cocktails. Anybody?
I wouldn't say they were any more expensive than a hotel (and cheaper than many hotels). The prices can also vary greatly depending on the cruise line & even the region that you will be sailing in.
Finally you need to be aware that many lines add 15% to the price shown as your automatic gratuity.
